Four Letters of Love, is a magical realist tale of far-flung lovers in 1970s Ireland, whose lives coalesce around the mystical, intertwining forces of coincidence, tragedy, and divine intervention. Screenplay is by Niall Williams who wrote the novel. The Irish landscape featured in this film is breathtaking.

This movie is melodramatic, sentimental and overwrought… but I liked it!

Though the cast includes Pierce Brosnan, Helena Bonham Carter and Gabriel Byrne, the real star is Irish actor, Ann Skelly, who can say 1,000 words with a single look.Stephen Romei, The Weekend Australian

Four Letters of Love is a romantic film with a poetic touch, exploring love, faith, and the mysteries of life. – Simon Morris, At The Movies Podcast, RNZ
