Winner of this year’s Oscar for Best Documentary Feature, No Other Land, documents the fight over Masafer Yatta, a Palestinian community in the West Bank and the efforts of its residents to resist forced eviction by the Israeli government.
No Other Land was conceived by a group of four Palestinian-Israeli activists and filmed between 2019 and 2023. The film graphically records the destruction of a Palestinian community in the occupied West Bank.
