Iron Winter is breathtaking documentary set in Mongolia’s harsh winter.
Two young herdsmen embark on a daunting mission to protect 2000 horses. Their journey becomes a test of endurance and a challenge to maintain their livelihood and ancient customs amid extreme, climate-driven conditions.
Filmed by Benjamin Bryan, the documentary is described as “gorgeously shot” and “transcendentally lensed”. Bryan utilizes drone shots to emphasize the scale of the landscape against the herdsmen.
A soul-rattling depiction of the struggle between humans and nature. – Cain Noble-Davies, filmink.com.au
