FOR THE LOVE OF FILM…..that’s our motto, and we’ve been loving films for 45 years now.
To celebrate NOOSA FILM SOCIETY’S 45TH ANNIVERSARY, we are shouting our members to a special afternoon on October 20th, 2pm, at Noosa 5 cinemas.
We will be simultaneously screening George Miller’s Mad Max (tickets available), a cult classic, and Hair, (SOLD OUT) the rollicking musical by Milos Forman.
For the Mad Max screening there will be an added bonus – Mad Max Film Designer, Jon Dowding, has generously offered to introduce this classic and participate in a 30 minute Q & A session following the screening.
To celebrate we will be serving complimentary bubbles (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and a bag of popcorn, before the screenings.
And….optional dress code is dusty dystopian, or 70’s hippy hippy shake.
And we will ask that members who need to cancel their booking to please contact the cinema ahead of time to allow other members to book in.
