Julio and Ana have been married for many years and have hit a brick wall in their relationship where daily conflicts have become the norm.

Ana decides to invite the upstairs neighbours, Laura and Salvo, for a drink and some tapas. Julio, returning from work, is unimpressed to hear this news – the younger couple have only recently moved into the building and at first were welcomed – but the constant moaning and groaning from their apartment has become a source of arguments.

The tension eventually gives way to something more interesting.

This witty and caustic film may be confined in terms of setting and scope (it unfolds in real time) but it’s fun nonetheless, not least because of the delicious performances from the four actors“. – David Stratton, The Australian

For the most part, this is simply a smart, genuinely funny and tightly written comedy of – very bad – manners.” – Graeme Tuckett, Stuff.co.nz
